Hunter’s POV
I reached for Amaya, feeling myself be whisked away, but not wanting to leave her. My heart ached, wanting to tell her who she was to me. It was obvious she had no idea. I honestly wasn’t sure if witches had mates, or how any of that worked. Having just had so much of myself revealed to me, I wondered if she would accept a freak such as myself. The need to yell at Blake for taking me away from my mate was strong, only when we landed and my eyes fell on Elliot did that need stop.
“Fuck me,” Blake said, letting out a breath of despair as he kneeled beside Elliot.
