Chapter 44

I wake up the next morning to an empty bed and quickly get up and go to the bathroom to shower in the misty, waterfall like shower before getting ready for the day. Once I'm dressed in a long sleeve lace white top and light lavender colored skirt, I quickly make my way out of the room and begin to travel through the palace to find Rayne or one of his family members who might know where he is.

As I reach the kitchen, I see Poppy and Zane sitting at the table eating.

"Hello, Autumn." Zane greets me kindly, as I walk towards them.

"Hey, have you guys seen Rayne? When I woke up, he wasn't there, usually he wakes up and tells me where he is going before he leaves." I say, hoping they would know where he went.

"We haven't seen him either sweetheart. Stella should be in her room and Bella in her office if you want to try asking one of them." Pop replies.
