Chapter 23 : Not a kind protector

"Chris!" Ivanna exclaims and I'm too stunned to speak at the tone of Christian.

"I could understand if you only bumped into her. But how can she literally fall? You should be careful enough when you're in a public place with people around you. You can't keep pushing people down"

"Mr Scott, I think you—"

"There's no crowd around. You could maintain enough distance. Couldn't you?"

My throat doesn't even support me to speak when this man is literally shouting at me in front of a bunch of people around, especially those ladies with me.

"Chris", Ivanna yanks his hand. "Stop, no! It's fine"

He groans, looking away. It takes me a while to process things. As much as I wanted to fire back, I gulp the anger down.

"I'm sorry again, Mr Scott. I really didn't mean to hurt your wife"

He just throws me a blank look. God! He looks more terrific in this furious look.

"Are you okay, Mrs Scott?" Astrid comes with others.

"I'm fine. Please don't worry about me. Enjoy your time", Ivanna tries to sm
