Thea! Why would she come so early in the morning? I'm already anxious about last night since I barely remember anything that happened at the party, especially after the last drink. And I'm not having a good feeling about it.

How did Christian show up there? Did anyone call him or did he come himself? God!

I swallow down the food and drink the entire glass of chilled water when Christian leaves the chair.

"Let me check", he walks towards me and grabs my head, leaning down and kissing my forehead in such a casual way that it makes me smile blissfully. "Don't come there before finishing breakfast, okay?"

I nod.

Christian strides to the living room. I don't think I can swallow even a grain when Christian would be talking to Thea.
