I hop down the stairs.
Shelley really did a good number on my leg.
It hurts like fuck.
"What happened to you kiddo." Dad asks his eyes scanning my now injured leg.
"It was Shelley, she made me hit my leg on the reading table." I tried to fake innocence.
But she did made me do it tho.
"I didn't do anything, she hit her leg all by herself." I hear Shelley's voice from behind me. Her hair is messy, best describe as a bird's nest. She drags her feet to the counter then makes a mug of coffee for herself.
