Aurelia's POV
'When will I get out of here?' I shook my head slightly as the temperature here was unbearably cold. I held my knees tightly to my chin level as I got lost in thoughts.
If I can truly pass all the trails set by him and prove to him and his people that I can be their Luna. That would be so lovely.
I held my chin happily as I felt them burning up.
'Don't tell me I am blushing? Just the thought of me standing by him addressing his people as his Luna alone makes me excited!' I screamed inwardly as my back came into contact with the soft bed.
I sighed heavily, staring at the white ceiling. It was quiet all around. Not even the familiar sounds of crickets were heard.
With my clear vision I was able to see things around. I turned to face the wall as I kept on thinking about all the things that I will have to go through to make it up to him.
"Kekeke," I laughed mischievously but it came out foolishly to my ears.
I rolled my eyes and was about to keep up with the fantastical thoughts when I felt the mate pull again. I jolted out from my bed like my butt was on fire as I dashed to the door and placed my right ear on it.
I heard him speaking to someone and I frowned.
'Who was he talking to?' and the next thing that happened was retreating footsteps.
My shoulders dropped and my mood got spoiled. I thought he came here for me.
Taking a deep breath to stop these negative thoughts. I sat on my bed as I stared at the door with an unenthusiastic look.
Soon a knock rang out at the door and my head jolted towards it.
'Did he come back?' I thought inwardly, but then the scent was different from his. This one was feminine and has this thing I couldn't describe.
"Come in," I replied, and soon the knob twisted and the door was opened. I stared at it waiting for who it was and that was when I saw a beautiful slender lady with long dark hair staring at me softly.
"Mm… hi?" She smiled at me and then walked inside the room. Somehow she gives me this vibes that makes me feel uncomfortable.
But… I guess she's not a bad person after all she came here freely. I am sure he knows about her coming here.
I crossed my fingers, placed them on my chest and then pointed it at her.
'How may I help you?' I thought inwardly, I do not know if she got it or not but the next thing that happened was her sitting beside me.
She smiled at me then said:" Oh? You don't talk? It's fine. I was instructed by Alpha Dante to come check up on you. I hope that is fine by you?" She tilted her head sideways, giving me a bright smile.
I found myself drawn to her smile and subconsciously I nodded to her question like I was in a spell.
She smiled then that was how she started examining me. It got to a point that she had to take a sample of my blood for whatever thing she wanted to do.
We talked about a lot of things and it didn't take long before she got ready to leave and I stared at her quietly.
"Everything here is fine and perfect. I'll take this sample and make sure I get a cure for this, okay?" She smiled at me and I nodded. I wanted to ask her a lot of things but right at this point I was too invulnerable.
I watched her leave and the sounds of her heels resonated like melodies in my ears.
Was that a skill of hers? I do not think so.
I shook my head as I stared at the ceiling and at the place she sat before. Subconsciously, I touched my neck and hissed out painfully.
I've been so excited and everything that I forgot that I had bruises on my neck. She should have noticed right?
I asked myself.
Nah, maybe she did but she decided not to bring it up thinking that she wasn't in the position to ask.
I shook my head slightly then collapsed on the bed tiredly.
I haven't stayed here for long and I do not know much about this place. But somehow, I have this connection to live here and not go anywhere else.
I don't know if I should thank my father for selling me out or should I be sad that I am living in another pack as a slave?Well what is the difference between me being a slave here with peace of mind or me being a rag at my own home with troubles all around?
I asked myself these questions multiple times and the more I asked the less I got to understand why?
I sighed heavily as I stared at the ceiling, my eyes began to feel tired. They have seen and experienced things that they shouldn't have.I closed my eyes for a second which then turned to hours as I drifted into the Neverland.
. . .I didn't know how long it had been but soon a blazing alarm woke me up with a start!
. . .
"Ke..p" I heard a voice but it sounded so distant I couldn't grab where it was coming from.
I was in this endless and boundless space that I don't even know where to place my feet.
"Wake up!" The voice yelled angrily and I jolted awake coughing heavily. I looked around confused, my eyes shut instinctively when they saw the brightness around.
Where am I?
I asked myself as my eyes slowly opened and I got a clear view of where I was. I was in some kind of lab?
I questioned myself. Wasn't I in a secluded place? What am I doing here?
"You are awake. Thank goodness. I thought something bad happened," I heard Danciana's voice beside me and I turned to her confused.
'When did I get here? What's going on?'
"I know you might be confused about all that's going on. I'm sorry, you have been unconscious for hours even when I came in to check up on you and I found this strange. So.i had no choice but to bring you here to my lab," She said apologetically to me.
" I do not understand you? How many hours have I been unconscious?" I was confused."And why?" I added.
" You have been unconscious for 16 hours now. And… the cause of it is still unknown but I saw something strange in your system. I think that will be the cause of it," She said and my heart tightened.
" 16 hours?!"
Aurelia's Point Of ViewI took a deep breath, my heart heavy with the burden of forgiveness and reconciliation. "Dante," I began, "I know that Vivian was involved in what happened to me, and I can't deny the pain and betrayal I felt. But I also know that she was manipulated by Genevieve, just as I was."Dante regarded me with a mixture of pride and concern. "Aurelia, forgiveness is a noble path, but it's not always easy. Are you sure this is what you want?"I nodded firmly, my resolve unwavering. "Yes, Dante. I believe that forgiveness can heal wounds and strengthen bonds. Vivian was once a dear friend, and I want to offer her a chance to make amends. Maybe, in doing so, we can rebuild the trust we once shared."Dante's expression softened, and he gently squeezed my shoulder. "You have a compassionate heart, my love. If that is your wish, then we shall go to Vivian and extend our forgiveness."Tears of gratitude welled up in my eyes as I embraced my mate. It was a step toward healing
Danciana's Point Of View I found myself standing at the edge of the dense forest, hidden in the cloak of shadows, my heart racing like a wild stallion. The tantalizing whispers of intrigue had reached my ears, carried by the winds of gossip that blew through our pack like a tempest. Alpha Augustine, the unyielding leader of the neighboring pack, had issued an ominous decree—the arrest of Genevieve, Aurelia's stepmother. I couldn't simply ignore the electric curiosity that surged through me. I had to know every detail of what was transpiring. With each cautious step, I ventured further into the foreign territory that belonged to our neighboring pack. The scent of unknown wolves hung heavy in the air, a strange and potent mixture with the familiar earthy aroma of the woods. It wasn't long before the clearing came into view, a bustling hub of activity teeming with pack members. My keen eyes roved through the crowd, searching for the familiar faces of my own pack mates. I approached Ezra
Bryan's Point of viewI couldn't believe my eyes. Was that Aurelia? I thought she was dead. So, Genevieve only lied to me. This was unfair. How could I have believed her? I neglected my own daughter so much, and now I feel like the worst father in the world. I felt like I let my own daughter down. I felt like I had ignored her when she needed me the most.My heart pounded in my chest as I walked up to my daughter, each step heavy with the weight of regret and longing."Aurelia," I called out, my voice choked with emotion. She turned towards me, her eyes widening in disbelief, and then she rushed into my arms, embracing me with a warmth that washed away the years of guilt and sorrow. "Father. I missed you so much," she whispered, tears streaming down her cheeks."I'm so sorry, Aurelia," I whispered back, my own tears mixing with hers. "I'm so sorry for neglecting you. I should have watched over you and taken care of you. It's all my fault. I thought I lost you.""You didn't lose me, Da
Genevieve's Point Of ViewI knew I was my own downfall, and no matter what I did, Alpha Augustine would still punish me. All I could do now was to plead with my stepdaughter Aurelia for kidnapping her and trying to kill her. I could be locked up for more than twenty years in a dungeon for my crimes. And I was scared to death that my mate Bryan may find out about Casey being my daughter, which no one knows for the past twenty-three years of her life.As I scanned the crowd, my heart sank as I saw Bryan join the gathering, his eyes filled with concern and curiosity. Panic surged within me, knowing that his presence might unearth the dark secret I had harbored for so long. The thought of losing him, the only source of solace in my turbulent life, was unbearable.Summoning every ounce of courage I had left, I rushed towards Aurelia, my knees hitting the ground hard as I knelt before her, tears streaming down my face. "Aurelia, please," I begged, my voice trembling with desperation. "I'm s
Aurelia's Point Of View:I sat down in my small, dimly lit room, engrossed in the pages of a thrilling novel. The world within the book offered a brief escape from the harsh reality I had been living through. Angela, my loyal and compassionate friend, walked in, her footsteps barely making a sound on the creaky wooden floor. She cleared her throat gently, breaking the silence that enveloped me."Hey, Aurelia," Angela said softly, concern etched into her features. "How are you holding up?"I closed the book and looked up at her, offering a faint but grateful smile. "I'm doing as well as I can, Angela. Thanks to you, I'm safe now."Angela's eyes softened, and she shook her head. "You don't have to thank me, Aurelia. I couldn't let them take you."I nodded, my heart swelling with gratitude for my friend's unwavering support. "I know, but I still appreciate everything you've done for me."Curiosity danced in Angela's eyes as she pulled up a chair and sat down beside me. "So, what's your n
Genevieve's Point Of ViewI was in my car, parked inconspicuously at our usual meeting spot, waiting for Casey. The cold air inside the car did little to alleviate the growing unease in my chest. Each passing second felt like an eternity, and my impatience was getting the best of me.Finally, the car door swung open, and Casey slipped into the passenger seat. Her face was a mosaic of emotions - anxiety, relief, and something else I couldn't quite place. I couldn't hide my irritation as I turned to her, my fingers tapping impatiently on the steering wheel."What took you so long, Casey?" I snapped, my tone sharp and accusatory.Casey's eyes darted around nervously, her lips trembling. "I'm sorry, Genevieve," she stammered, her voice quivering. "I... I couldn't find Vivian at our usual meeting spot."My heart skipped a beat, and a shiver of fear raced down my spine. Panic began to well up within me as I asked, "Are you absolutely sure? Did she say anything about us?"Casey's voice remai
Alpha Dante's Point Of ViewThe moon hung low in the velvety night sky, casting a soft, silvery glow over the secluded forest clearing where Aurelia and I stood. Her presence, so close yet seemingly distant, was like a fragile flame struggling against the encroaching darkness. Her eyes, once bright and full of life, now held a shadow of fear that sent shivers down my spine."Aurelia," I implored, my voice laced with a mixture of desperation and longing. I took a step closer to her, my senses attuned to every nuance of her body language. "You can't keep running from this, from us. You can't hide forever. Come home with me, please."She hesitated, the night breeze ruffling her dark hair as she turned her gaze away from me, as if searching for answers among the stars. "Alpha Dante," she finally spoke, her voice a fragile whisper in the night. "You don't understand. There are people after my life. They won't rest until I'm dead."My heart clenched at the raw fear in her words, the thought
Alpha Dante's Point Of ViewI told Angela that I wanted to see my missing mate Aurelia, since she knows where she is. She told me that Aurelia is in her Pack. I told her to get into the car, and we drove through the dense, moonlit forest. The anticipation was building within me with each passing mile.Angela kept glancing at me, concern etched across her face. "Dante, I didn't expect things to play out like this," she began, her voice quivering with uncertainty. "This is so sudden for Aurelia, and she doesn't know that I've revealed the truth about her rescue and her safety."I tightened my grip on the steering wheel, my knuckles turning white. "What do you mean, Angela? Why wouldn't Aurelia know? Is she in danger?"Angela sighed, her eyes fixed on the winding road ahead. "No, it's not that, Dante. It's just that she's been through so much. She was terrified, wondering what you would think of her after everything she endured."I glanced at Angela, the weight of my actions weighing hea
Angela's Point Of ViewI decided to meet with Alpha Dante and tell him what's really going on. It wasn't just about clearing Aurelia's name; it was about revealing the truth that she never poisoned him and never ran away. I knew it was going to be a tough sell, especially with all the evidence stacked against her. But I couldn't stand by and watch her suffer for a crime she didn't commit.I picked up my phone and dialed Danciana's number. She was not only a close friend but also the pack's trusted doctor. We had worked together countless times, and I knew I could rely on her. When she answered the call, her voice was laced with concern. "Angela, is everything all right? You're not feeling unwell, are you?"I hesitated for a moment, grappling with the weight of the situation. Finally, I replied, "No, Danciana, I'm physically fine. But there's something urgent I need to take care of today. It's a matter of great importance."There was a pause on the other end of the line as Danciana pro
