Chapter 2.

“Yes… Pearl. Fuck! Just like that,” Alpha Lucien’s voice came out in a low, hoarse groan, his other hand gripping the edge of the table while he stroked his length, panting and choking on his moan.

The moment the sound hit my ears, my words trailed off and my body froze, the sound curling straight through my belly and settling hot between my legs.

His muscles carved like sin under the dim light that flickered through his master bedroom. His back was to me, but I saw the way his shoulders moved—strained, like he was clenching and chasing his own pleasure.

Then my voice slipped into him.

Instantly, he snapped his head in my direction to meet me standing by the door, hands trembling from the sight I had just walked into.

His eyes turned dark with something I didn’t understand.

“Fuck,” he muttered under his breath, eyes glaring with fury.

Immediately, he tugged the cock I didn’t get to see into his pants.

“What the hell are you doing here?” His voice came out harsh and dangerous as he picked his steps.

My grip on the cake tightened, pussy dripping amidst the chaos.

“I—I just wanted to—”

The words trailed off my lips moment as he grabbed my neck—not too firm and not too loose, but hard enough to pin me against the wall in one rough, swift movement.

The cake left my hand, crashing into the floor as he pinned me to the wall, his body shielding me from view.

My pussy tingled as he leaned in, his face hovering an inch away from mine, voice thundering like thunder and lightning.

“Who told you to barge into my room like that?”

I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t move. I just quivered gently from the sheer pleasure of being pinned to the wall and the image of being fucked right after this.

I could have sworn that I heard him call my name. My lips parted, trying to form words that wouldn’t come. My heart pounded so hard I was sure he could hear it.

“I—I—I’m sorry, I—I just wanted to say thank you,” I whispered, voice barely audible.

His jaws clamped, a vein in his temple twitching as his nails dug deeper into my nape, inventing something raw and forbidden between my thighs.

His eyes flickered to my lips, lingering there for only a second, then back to my eyes.

His breath was hard against my cheek, panting like he was trying to control something. Like he was trying to hide something.

His grip tightened for a second, his bulge pressing against my stomach.

My thighs clamped, toes twitching from the hardness that was poking my belly. Oh, fucking heaven. How huge was he?

My throat bubbled with need. In the face of adversity, the only thing that mattered at the moment was getting on my knees and getting fucked like a good girl.

“I could punish you for this,” he said, voice low and gravelly while he dragged the pad of his thumb against my jaw.

My skin prickled, crawling with need. Punish? The words delighted me a raw image of being spanked by him filled my thoughts, but he pulled away, taking a step backward before I could even realize it.

“Get out,” he growled.

My heart slammed against my ribs, the word slicing into me. His voice came out again, rougher and darker this time.

“Get the fuck out of my room and don’t ever come here without knocking again.”

The command hit me like a slap, and tears rushed, gathering at the lids of my eyes. Without a word, I turned and bolted, my steps echoing through the hallway as I ran away.

The moment I got into my room, I slammed the door shut and leaned into it, sob by sob breaking through my throat as I remembered the look in his eyes.

The hunger. The need. The restraint. I had seen everything. He wanted me. He needed me. But he was pulling back.

Was I not worthy?

The tears finally slid down my cheek, wetting my chest while I sat on the floor, crying like a baby.

It’s been three days—three days since I barged in on the Alpha stroking himself and moaning my name. Three days since my birthday ended with it had not been all fun till that moment.

For the past three days, I have been in my room, refusing to eat or step out. But the memories of him from that night were forever etched in me.

I should be angry. I should be mad at how he chased me out of his room. But I wasn’t. Instead, my body twirled at every memory: the way his hand grabbed the table. The way he choked on his moan. The way his head dipped backward. And the way my name fell off his lips—it was both forbidden and sacred.

My nipples tightened beneath my blouse. Silly me. I shouldn’t be thinking about him. But I couldn’t help the way my pussy twitched at the thoughts that played in my head.

A knock came on the door, interrupting my trance. I didn’t need to ask who it was. Nina, my personal maid, has been trying to get me to eat for the past three days—all of which she has failed at.

“Come in,” I called out, and the door opened, revealing her. She was dressed in her usual staff attire—a white shirt tucked into a blue skirt.

The moment she stepped in, the aroma of sweet food gripped my nostrils, and my stomach grumbled.

“Miss,” she called out, hurriedly closing the distance between us.

“You should eat,” she said with a pleading undertone, but I only looked away.

Silence settled over the air for some seconds, until she scrunched beside me.

“You are no longer the sixteen-year-old Pearl. You are twenty-one now. The Alpha won’t baby you again. Even if you starve to death.”

Her voice was calm and tender— filled with concern, but her words struck me like a blow, pulling me into reality.

I blinked gently, refusing to look in her direction. With a gentle pat on my shoulder, she stood up and walked away.

The moment the door clicked, I tilted my head in the direction of the door like I could still feel her presence. Then back at the food. She was gone, but her presence lingered. The truth of her words stabbed at my chest.

Maybe she was right. When I was younger, I often went days without eating just to get the Alpha to baby me. But it’s been three days now, and the Alpha has not checked in.

The harsh reality settled, and I grabbed the tray of food, taking gentle bites until I emptied the contents on the plate.

Then I went underneath my duvet for half an hour until I suddenly felt something crawling against my spine.

The action was slow, gentle—moving up my body like a lover’s touch. It was deceptive, like a whisper beneath my skin.

I reached for the water on my bedside stand, taking a gulp to quench the fire that was slowly dragging through my veins. But nothing happened. Instead, the feeling twisted against my belly.

My brows pulled together, perplexed by how I was feeling.

I was fine some minutes ago—fine and perfectly okay. So why? Why was I trembling?

Why was my pussy suddenly aching? Why was—my thoughts trailed off as I felt something drop against my panties. My thighs clamped, skin prickling from the brush of my duvet.

Immediately, I got on my feet, trying to find a solution. Anything—anything to quench the ache until it got worse.

The moment I stepped out of my room, the cool breeze from the hallway brushed down my skin, sending waves across my system.

My thighs pressed instinctively as I dragged my legs down the hallway, trying to find Nina. I had been fine before that food. Now I am arching like a girl in heat.

When I walked down the hallway, a strong smell invaded my breath, gripping my nostrils.

It shouldn’t bother me, but I couldn’t move past it either. The smell wrapped around my scent, pulling me in until I found myself following it out to the wide, secret terrace.

Curiosity and pleasure twisted, moving across my spine.

My legs wobbled and the hair on my skin ghosted.

“Pearl.” I heard the very familiar voice, then I turned my head in the direction.

The smile on my face dropped at the sight of Marko. I had heard his voice, I knew he was the one who called—but somehow, something within me had hoped it would be the Alpha.

“What are you doing here—?” My words trailed off as he beat me to it.

I looked at him, then around. Yes. What was I doing here? I should be with Nina, interrogating her about who made the food and why my heat suddenly came up.

I swallowed, pushing the lump against my throat. Marko’s eyes dragged over me, slow and deliberate—like he was trying to memorize every inch of my skin.”

My skin burned under the intensity of his gaze. But deep down… deep down I knew he was not the one I wanted. He was not the one I wanted to see.

Then the thought suddenly occurred to me—he wasn’t supposed to be here. Marko didn’t live in the palace. So why was he here?

My lips parted to say a word, but his voice came in again.

“Your nipples—” he called out, and my eyes dropped to the sight of my tits. My nipples stood proud and razor sharp, threatening to slice through my clothes.

He took a step closer.

“Stop,” I countered, stretching my hands forward.

I didn’t want him closer. No. Not now. Not when I do not have control over my body. But Marko was stubborn.

“You are burning,” he mumbled, covering the space between us in just a second.

I tried to take a step away, but my legs wobbled, and he gripped me before I could fall.

“Marko…” I gasped as his fingers grazed my skin. The word came out like a moan—sharp and unbidden. “Sweat trickled down my forehead. My vision blurred—hazy and needful. I was barely holding it together.”

“You are safe…” he said, holding my gaze while dragging his fingers against my thighs, slow and deliberate.

Then suddenly, a voice thundered against the air, sharp and familiar.

“Pearl!”

My head snapped in the direction of the voice.

And there he stood—Alpha Lucien in all his glory. Tall, broad, and masculine.

His fingers curled beside him, tightening into a fist. His face wasn’t cold. They were hard with emotions—anger, to be specific.

Epilogue Four years later, life had settled into something beautiful, something steady, something Pearl once thought was too fragile to ever exist for her. The palace no longer felt like a place of echoes and old wounds. It breathed now. It laughed. It lived. Morning light spilled through wide windows, carrying the sound of children’s footsteps and soft voices that belonged to a life finally at peace. Pearl stood by the balcony most mornings, watching the world wake beneath her, one hand resting on the stone railing, the other often held by Alpha Lucien, who never seemed to tire of standing beside her. Four years had passed, yet the way he looked at her still held that same reverence, as if loving her was something sacred, something he practiced carefully every single day. They had been blessed with twins. Two beautiful boys, born under a calm moon and a sky that felt impossibly kind. They were identical in the way only twins could be, dark-haired, bright-eyed, and already too cle

Chapter 158. Pearl’s POV. “May I have this moment?” Alpha Lucien said softly, still holding my hand.I lifted my gaze to him, really looking at him, and for a brief second the noise of the palace faded into nothing. His eyes were careful, hopeful, afraid, all at once and that made me a little nervous, too. I swallowed, then shook my head slightly.“Certainly not in this environment.”A soft smile formed at the corner of his lips then he stared at me surprised that I had given in. Perhaps. Perhaps he really thought that I wasn't going to give in, but u had no reason to. A quiet, almost relieved chuckle slipped from Alpha Lucien’s lips. “Oh… of course.” His voice betrayed his nerves, but there was something else there too, something fragile and grateful, because I was not turning him away. Not completely. He loosened his hold on my hand and tried to guide me forward, but I gently withdrew my fingers from his. He understood immediately and didn’t push. I walked ahead, steady, calm

  • My Alpha Daddy.    His Appology.

Chapter 157. Pearl’s Pov. The palace felt strangely quiet as we walked through its long corridors, the soft echo of our footsteps the only sound filling the space between us, and even that seemed too loud for how heavy my chest felt. The walls glowed faintly under the light, familiar and yet distant, as if I was walking through a place that no longer belonged to me. Imani walked beside me in calm silence, her hands folded loosely in front of her, her presence gentle but grounding, and for a while, neither of us said anything, the words sitting between us like something fragile neither of us wanted to touch. I didn't know why my heart was cracking, but perhaps, it was because Vera wasn't here, between us. And that broke my heart. I had not meant to infect her. Even with the atrocitiesties she has committed against me, but that was my only chance to escape. Of survival. I was still deep in thoughts and lost in words when Imani spoke, breaking the silence. “You should forgive him,

  • My Alpha Daddy.    Her Dead End.

Chapter 156. Vera’s Pov. I was lying on the bed when I realized that death did not come loudly, it did not announce itself with thunder or screaming, it came quietly, spreading through my veins like heat, slow and deliberate, burning every part of me from the inside out. My body felt heavy and light at the same time, my skin too hot, my breath uneven, and I knew the time was close because the poison always worked that way, patiently, mercilessly, waiting for the exact hour it was injected before it finished the job. My eyes stung with tears I no longer had the strength to wipe away, and regret wrapped around my chest tighter than the pain itself as memories crashed into me one after another, every choice I had made, every warning I ignored, every lie I told myself just so I could believe I was loved. I should not have trusted him, I should not have been so desperate to be chosen, and as my lips trembled, I realized too late that love was never meant to cost this much. The door ope

Chapter 155. Alpha Lucian’s POV. I walked into my office with a glass of whiskey clenched tightly in my hand, the liquid sloshing dangerously close to the rim as my fingers trembled with restrained rage, and before I even reached the desk a guttural groan tore out of my chest as I hurled the glass forward with all the strength in my arm, watching it crash violently against the wall before shattering to the floor in a sharp explosion of sound, shards scattering everywhere like the pieces of my sanity, and I stood there panting, chest heaving, breath rough and uneven as the words ripped out of me in a hoarse snarl,“Fuck you… fuck the entire world.”My legs gave in and I slumped heavily into the chair behind my desk, dragging a hand down my face as the image of her burned behind my closed eyes, the way she looked at me when she left, cold, distant, her eyes stripped of every trace of warmth they once held for me, and it felt like something vital had been ripped out of my chest and cru

  • My Alpha Daddy.    The Weight Of His Actions.

Chapter 154. Alpha Lucian’s POV. I stared at Imani. Then at Mila. Then back at Pearl. She lay on the bed like she was made of glass, her skin too pale, her lips faintly parted, her chest rising so slowly it scared me. One of her hands rested over her stomach as though even in unconsciousness she knew she was not alone anymore, as though she was guarding our child with the last thread of instinct left in her body.“That’s the only way to save her,” I said at last, my voice coming out hoarse, scraped raw from fear and sleeplessness. “After the blood… I need to mate with her.”The words tasted like ash in my mouth.Imani nodded slowly, solemnly, like a judge passing a sentence that could not be appealed.“That is the only way,” she said. “The poison has spread too far. It has woven itself into her core, into her wolf, into the life growing inside her. Without the bond, she will die.”My gaze snapped back to Pearl.“She’s unconscious,” I said, my chest tightening painfully. “She didn’t
