Rhea’s POV

I woke up when I felt a dark feeling floating inside me.

I opened my eyelids tiredly as sleep was still trying to pull me back to it, but I fought it, sensing the dark feeling in me increasing by the second. Something was wrong, but I couldn’t figure it out.

There was more than one thing wrong.

The first wrong thing was that I was alone on the bed.

Adrian was no where in sight inside the bedroom.

If I wasn’t in his own bedroom, I would have panicked, thinking the whole intimate experience was just in my head. But since I woke up in his room, wearing the boxer he gave to me before I went to sleep, I was assured that everything that happened was thankfully real.

But where is he?

Why didn’t he wake me up with him?

“Maybe he wanted you to wake up on your own” Hazel suggested lightly, trying to ease my anxiety.
