Alpha Diego's POV .. I sat tiredly on the chair, releasing a heavy sigh of perspiration. I could hear the drums heavily yet meticulously beating announcing the commencement of the biggest event an hour from now. In less than an hour, the Thanksgiving celebration that usually takes us a week to prepare for would be held. ... Alpha Diego... .. Their laughter occupied the atmosphere and soon doubled up in feats. My gaze rested on the bracelet wrapped around my wrist. My last hope; my end. Knowing I was without a choice as I would eventually die by the sword, I settled to use it. It was the only way to get rid of my enemies who were laughing in scorns to my face, I was that arrogant. *Emily's POV* .. I carelessly flung my bag across my shoulder as I ran down the street now standing opposite the gigantic tall building; I took a glance at my wrist and cussed when the time came into view. I was ten minutes late already. Just my first week and I already have a record for lateness. In my disheveled state, I hurried into the building, ignoring the desperate stares I got as I walked on. I ran up the staircase in twos, checking each tag on the door for my class. With my bag dangling behind me in massive sways, I took a stop in front of a door after confirming the inscription on the smooth glassy surface. ... .. Emily dashed into the restroom the moment she realized his absence. She slammed the door behind her after she swooped into one of the stalls, she felt her nose running and she watched in the mirror, with horror-filled eyes as black blood drizzled down her nostrils. Her jaw dropped in shock; her heart thumping like giant raindrops slapping against an iron roof. With shaky hands, she began rinsing the blood off, her breathing so solid; save for the running water, she doubts the heaviness of it remaining in the enclosed space she was in.
