Davina’s POV
“Great! Keep this up and we will be tied like this for the rest of our lives!” Rowena said bitterly.
I didn’t reply to her. I was so angry at him. I don’t like anyone controlling my every move. I always fought with my mom for that exact reason. And now he is trying to do the same thing to me. The only difference is, he will keep punishing me if I keep refusing him.
What I can’t figure out, is why he is suddenly so keen on keeping me when he wanted nothing to do with me before. He tried to fucking kill me without blinking an eye for Goddess’s sake!
Why the sudden change of heart?
“It’s the mate bond, it changed him, and probably Elijah too” supplied Rowena.
