Chapter Sixteen

It was soon the next morning and Marc was nowhere to be found as the maids who made it a habit to always wake me up were the ones available .

“Where is Marc?” I asked as they all stopped and stared at each other in surprise, like I was speaking of an abomination.

“Marc was never here in the very first place so how are you insinuating he would be here?”One of the maids said to me in a very weird and rude voice.

“He was here and that's why I asked where he was because he was supposed to be beside me this morning.” I said to her,

“Well, I guess I know why he isn’t with you because it is almost lunch time and Marc instructed us to wake you up.” The same rude maid said before walking out and the other maids followed behind.

I stood up and I was still naked so I covered myself and suddenly the whole event that fell the previous night came back to me and I couldn’t help but blush.
