MIA'S POV
At age 10"Let her go now". Ethan growls at my dad and I see him taking a challenging step towards my dad."Why is he acting like this?" My mom asks while looking between Ethan and I."Do you think? .....Oh no, Oh no no no. They have not even shifted yet". Ethan's Mom Ashley gasps and covers her mouth while looking between my dad and Ethan's dad.I see my parents looking back and forth between Ethan and I, but I am to distraught and anxious to care what they have to say about us. I just have an overwhelming urge to be near my best friend Ethan."This can not be happening! This can not happen! My son is a future Alpha! We have to do whatever we can to stop this! I see Ethan from the car window being pulled away by his dad by his shirt collar. He is scratching at his dad's hand to get away but he does not succeed.I bang the car window and cry as I really want to be by my best friend. I am not sure why they do not want to let us stay close to each other and I don't want to stay away from Ethan. The mere thought of being away from him breaks my heart. He makes eye contact with me one more time before my dad speeds down the road away from my best friend. MIA'S POVAt age 17I can not stop staring at my school lunch. It's supposed to be mashed potatoes and gravy but it looks like someone just threw up old potatoes and don't get my started on the gravy. MIA'S POVAt age 17When I asked my dad about going to camp this year,he got angry and shifted. He broke a lamp and destroyed the living room couch. So obviously he did not want me to go,which is why I'm sneaking off to go there. Rhea and Layla have agreed to help me and we have all told our parents none of us are going and insisted we are having a girls spa weekend to celebrate my birthday. ETHAN'S POVI'm sitting in my family's private jet waiting for my two dumb best friends to join me. They are always late and I hate it. I'm the future Alpha after my dad retires and they are my future Beta And Gamma. We need to be on time. I really want to go to this mating camp and make a fool out of Edward. ETHAN'S POVMost wolves can sense their mate after they turn eighteen but being of Alpha blood I should have been able to sense her after my first shift at thirteen, My mate might not have been able to sense it yet but I would know and I've been disappointed ever since hoping I would have met her by now. I have been to at least fifty different packs since I started shadowing my dad when I turned fourteen and I still haven't found her. MIA'S POVWe all take our bags to our room and start unpacking. I offered to share space with Layla but she said she only brought one bag and does not plan on unpacking. After unpacking, Rhea suggested we should walk around and get familiar with the place and I agree as I've been feeling anxious since we arrived though I'm not sure if it's being in a new place or all the different wolves around. Hopefully, a walk will help. Once outside, we pass many other cabin that looks like ours.
