CHAPTER 9

ETHAN'S POV

Most wolves can sense their mate after they turn eighteen but being of Alpha blood I should have been able to sense her after my first shift at thirteen, My mate might not have been able to sense it yet but I would know and I've been disappointed ever since hoping I would have met her by now.

I have been to at least fifty different packs since I started shadowing my dad when I turned fourteen and I still haven't found her. My dad wants me to choose a Luna which means he chooses a Luna for me but I refuse. I told my father I would rather be mate less. I want my fated mate whoever she is.

I haven't been sleeping well the last few nights. My wolf Nathan has been restless and we have been taking midnight runs just to tire ourselves enough to sleep. My wolf is anxious and wants to meet our mate fast. I feel the same but fate can't be rushed. I can only hope the moon goddess will deliver her soon and If I'm lucky, this year will be the one.

MIA'S POV

As soon as we enter the camp I'm speechless as I've never seen this many wolves in one place. Once the taxi dropped us off when checked in at the front gate, got our room key and schedule and came upon a large open field.

Inside there are wolves everywhere both in human and wolf form. To my left, I can see a giant obstacle course and other training equipment. Farther straight in front of us is a large boxing ring where two wolves are sparring.

To the right I can see lots of cabins and in the middle is one large house that reminds me of the pack house back home but large and fancier. Some guys walk past us and smile clearly checking us out.

"Hey boys". Rhea waves and I grab her arm pulling her close to me as she laughs.

"Rhea! What the heck! Trying to find a guy already". I laugh and Rhea twirls a piece of her hair around.

"I'll be a good girl I promise, I just like to look". Rhea replies and Layla rolls her eyes and I smack Rhea's arm while she just continue to laugh her head out.

I drag both my heavy bags down the path to the cabin. It's just a ten minutes walk yet I'm already so tired I'm on the verge of fainting. Layla asks me if I need her help as she has only one bag but I tell her to help Rhea instead as that fool of a girl brought four fucking bags.

My friends know I'm not as strong as other wolves. I have to train twice as hard. I also can't talk to my wolf Breanna unless I'm in wolf form. It's strange for a werewolf but as I said before I'm quite unique.

After the walk, we reach our cabin and I'm happy I can set my bag down. I trip immediately I walk in. Ugh I'm so clumsy I hate it.

Rhea and Layla walk around me and we all study the room. It's quite decent but I expected more.

"I call dibs on the biggest room". Rhea screams and drops her bag running down the hall.

"Hey no fair, I wasn't ready". I yell and run after her. Rhea runs and opens up the door on the right revealing a medium sized room. Seeing this I ran towards the room on the left. Lo and behold! I got the largest room obviously the biggest room too.

"Ha! I got the biggest room" I dance my happy dance and she rolls her eyes dramatically.

"Uhm babes, we have a problem". Layla turns to face us.

"What is it?". I walk over to Layla and look into the room and see the problem.

The problem is it's not a bedroom,it's a bathroom. Somehow we got a two-bedroom instead of a three. Rhea walks behind me and peeks over my shoulder to look.

"Oh no, should we request for another room". Rhea asks looking at Layla.

"It's fine I can crash on the couch if I'm lucky you two will meet your mates and can shack up with them". Layla laughs and pats my back.

"Are you sure? If you want we can share the bed in my room after all it's the biggest". I laugh and Rhea snort at me earning an eye roll from Layla.

I turn to Layla. I hope she can see how sincere I am. I really don't like the idea of her sleeping on the couch.

"It's okay Mia, I've slept on worse plus your are terrible to sleep with. You toss and turn so much it's uncomfortable".

"It's true, but we still love you babe". Rhea nods at me and smiles along with Layla.

"Do I really sleep that bad?". I ask as I know that sometimes my wolf Reenah and I are restless to sleep but I always hoped no one ever noticed.

"It's like an earthquake". Rhea teases and walk away leaving me with my thoughts about how strange or should I say unique.
