Davis POV

"Now what's next on the schedule?" I asked my secretary as I settled down in my office.

She gave me a stare and said hesitantly, "You didn't take much time at the seminary. Did everything go well?"

I grabbed the handkerchief lying on my desk and wiped my sweaty palms with it. "Uh. I told them the facts. Public uproar has nothing to do with whether there's a case or not. As far as the law and government are concerned, the so-called 'druglords' are businessmen. I think a few of them have gone to court before and there was no evidence whatsoever to prove that any of them were into any illegal activities."

"And if I remember quite frankly, you, sir, are the one that defended two of the so-called drug lords in the court of law."

I stood on my feet and walked past my secretary. "The intricacies don't matter now, does it? The main point is that the court of law doesn't record the so-called persons in the video as criminals. Moving on, what's the next thing on the agenda, secretary?
