My friends have just arrived in front of my building, hear the car sound, I finish applying my lipstick and then I go downstairs, with pumps heel in my feet. Estelle’s convertible is there, I quickly take my place in the back, next to Mia. Estelle is my best friend; I’ve known her since kindergarten. Mia, Zoe, and Amelie, I’ve known them since high school, we make a great group, like lady gang. Zoe is the youngest in our group, she is two years younger than me, I’m 25, she 23. She’s like a little sister, I care a lot for this girl.

Anyway, I’m Nicolette Gray, so I’m 25, I’m from October 5th. My parents still live together with my little sister, Lili, who is only 6 years old. Yeah, we got a lot of gaps, but that’s okay. Monday, I am starting a career in human resources at Manson Construction Co. It’s a bit of a dream company, they sell millions of jewels every day in a hundred countries.

Finally, we go to a bar, we know that we will find one in Los Angeles. When we finally find a pub open, Estelle parked nearby and we go forward! We almost run to the pub; the security guard is cool. We get in without problems and go straight to the counter. The waiter comes quickly to us, we order shots of vodka to start the evening in our own style way. When we have finished the fifth shot, we are on the track and we start dancing. Estelle stays with me; she looks at the boys around us. She finds two handsome guys, which means we’re going to trying to seduce them and maybe bring them home to enjoy tonight.

“How old do you think they are?”

I look at the two men she shows me, then I answer my best friend.

“25, 30 years max.”

“So go seduce one of the guys.”

“Are you serious? We always flirt with two.” I smiled at her, frowning.

“I know, I’ll join you.”

“I hate you.”

She smiles and then she walks away with the others. I start dancing again, it makes me feel so good to be here. I quickly feel their hands on my hips, I am given a rhythm. I follow him, thinking he’s one of the two guys I need to hit seduced. I smile in turn then he takes my hand to go on the track. I glance at my friends; they all hold up their drinks. I decided to focus on the guy I’m dancing with. He is very handsome, he wears a very simple black T-shirt, jeans and sneakers. I can’t quite see the color of his eyes, but they look clear.

The evening is almost over for us, it is past three o’clock. I catch up with my friends a bit after telling Darren, the guy I’ve been with all along. I’m leaving with him; we’re going to my place. I quickly find Estelle; she is glued to another guy; he is also sexy in my eyes but not my type. I pat her shoulder a little. She turns, letting go of her date, then looks at me.

“What’s the matter?”

“I’m going home, I’m coming to warn you.”

I give her a kiss then I go to meet Darren in front of the bar. I quickly cross the road and jump into his arms.
