BAB 173 I Revenge

Jaxon walked into the family’s living room, and there sat Jeff Bradwood, accompanied by his stepmother, Ruby. Jeff’s shoulders tensed as he noticed the presence of Red Cage members in the room, even though he had heard them before reaching the gate. However, seeing the parade of men enter the room, Jeff couldn’t even move from his seat on the sofa.

“Jeff,” Jaxon said, putting his hands in his trouser pockets.

Instead of responding, Jeff Bradwood simply cleared his throat and looked around. He consciously avoided his son’s bored stare.

Jaxon’s gaze was drawn to Ruby, who smiled sensuously. But he ignored her. His attention was drawn back to his father, who was attempting to maintain a poker face.

“I see you’re doing well,” Jaxon said as he sat down on the couch and made small talk.

He gave the two people in front of him a difficult-to-read look.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Red Cage appeared to be dispersed throughout the room. He seems to be on guard and keeping an eye on the situation.
