“Jane. Thank you. You saved her life. I owe you more than anything I could ever give you.” He said with a serious expression. I could see rage was still going through his entire being and that he was trying to calm down.

I looked back at my best friend, a peaceful expression on her face. “No, I think you saved her life. I'm pretty sure she was dying.” I softly said. “I felt pain.
