Chapter 27: The morning after

I laid in bed on my back with two strong arms around me, a cool body pressed against me and the most amazing smell surrounding me. Cinnamon. Memories of yesterday came flooding in and I opened my eyes, taking in my location. I stared at the ceiling and needed a moment to comprehend what was happening. I looked next to me to Jane who was stirring awake. She was laying against me, her arm draped over me, the back of her hand pressed against Damon his chest.

Moose was down by her feet, taking up half of the bed. He was laying like a starfish on his back and pushed the three of us to the other side of the bed. I looked to my other side and saw Damon, fully pressed against me with his leg over me. His one arm was under my neck and his other arm was holding the side of my body. His head was resting above my head and I laid safe and secure in the nook of his neck. Oh my god. I was in bed with Damon Hayes.
