Chapter 28: The truth comes out

The doorbell rang and Moose started barking, jumping up and down by the window. Damon went to the door and got the breakfast that was finally delivered. He walked back with three bags. We stood up to help but he shook his head, signalling for us to stay seated. “Let us help. It's too much on your own. You'll be taking ages.” I said to him.
