Capo Mandamento Is Back

Lucas' POV

Is it only me? Or my girlfriend looks so devastated since she got out from LM. I was waiting outside my own company— as usual — and when Naomi got out, her face seemed so distressed and there was cute little wrinkled skin in between her two eyebrows and she's frowning deep with a hint of a scowl. She hopped on my bike without saying anything, not even a hi when she saw me which she usually does whenever she sees me outside.

So instead of asking her what's wrong, I just put my helmet on after I put hers on and I brought her to a place that I knew she needed. I ordered two cups of ice cream, one milk flavored ice cream and one chocolate flavor. I shoved her the cup after I sat across from her.

I watched her eat the milk ice cream, and her eyes pierced the cup like it was her enemy. She gripped the plastic spoon so tight that I knew any minute by now, it'll snap.

"So.."

"I want to quit." She stated, my heart thudded and I held my breath. "To my job."
