Chapter 29

"There is something about you that makes you different." He said standing up. He walked towards me and stood a few feet away from me.

My mouth sealed as Nausea filled me up. He knows and now he’s gonna eat me alive. My palms began sweating as I looked down unsure of what to say. I want to deny the fact that I’m a human but I think it’s unnecessary because he somehow sees through me and he has already made up his mind. He won’t believe anything I tell him.

He cocks his head, studying me "Who are you, Maya?" He asked

"I don’t understand." I am glad I sound normal and not like the scary cat I feel on the inside.
