Julissa’s POV

I licked my lips nervously while Ashton had me trapped with his large body. I could feel every bit of his hard muscles as he forced me in between his body and the lockers.

“Good morning, Julissa.” He taunted as he stared me down.

“Good morning, Ashton.” I mumbled, trying not to raise his anger.

“Thank you!” I whispered back happily. I turned around in my seat and opened the box to find a golden necklace with a crescent moon on it.

I whipped back around, “Julius, this is too expensive!”

“It wasn’t even expensive. It’s for you, I want you to wear it.” He said with a soft smile.

I undid the necklace, and Julius helped me put it on. It was really nice and probably the only gift I’ll receive today.

Julius was my only friend in the pack. He was almost as tall as Ashton; he had black hair and grey eyes and was a force to be reckoned with. He had been my friend since elementary school and usually Ashton wouldn’t mess with me when he’s around. However, he couldn’t always be there.

The rest of the school day went by uneventfully; however, I’d have a shiver down my spine whenever I crossed paths with Ashton.

When school let out, I nearly ran home.

I went up to my room to shower and get ready for my party.

I went to her room to tell her the news about our parents. I did not expect to find her dripping wet in only a towel.
