The Visit

Immediately, they left for the restroom. She caught a glimpse of what looked like the back view of Levi. But she could not ascertain if he was the one, because the man was escorted into the private room of the restaurant so she was not able to see his face.

"It can't be Levi. He is just a driver, I must have been thinking a lot about him which makes me think that all men looks like Levi" She thought 

Few minutes later, Audrey and Alex came back from the restroom. They paid for the food they are and left the restaurant.

Ashley had worked as a model in the United States for many years and made some money. Now, she spent all her money on this house in order to secure the life of her son, Alex.

She knew that Levi was just a driver. It would be a heavy burden for him to bear the responsibility of being a father when he was totally unprepared.

That was why she had to get everything ready earlier on her own.

On getting outside the restaurant. Ashley said goodbye to her Son. She squatted in front of him and kissed him on the forehead. Alex reached out his hand and patted her head. "Mom, a girl should know how to protect herself when she works outside. Also, don't work too hard"

Audrey's eyes twinkled with amusement when she heard this. The two people in front of her didn't act like a mother and a son, but like a father and a daughter.

"Okay, I will, " Ashley assured him with a bright smile. Alex nodded and left with Audrey.

After that, Su Bei took a taxi to the new house that she had bought with Audrey's help. Without even taking a look at the house or unpacking properly, she just kept her luggage there, changed her clothes, and took another taxi straight to the Stone Group Headquarters.

She had met Levi twice before their marriage both times at a friend's party. One of the guests had been a man called Steve Stone, who was said to be from the Stone Group. After getting too drunk, he had asked his driver to pick him up. 

And both times, the driver who came to pick him up was Levi Since Levi's tenmperament was unique and different from other drivers' dispositions,

Ashley had noticed him at a glance. She wasn't familiar with Steve, so she couldn't ask him about his driver. Therefore, she decided to go to the Stone Group Headquarters in person to find Levi.

She walked elegantly into the building in her high-heeled shoes. When she arrived at the reception desk, she asked politely, "Excuse me, Good afternoon"

"Good afternoon Ma" the receptionist replied to her greeting

"May I see Levi Stone? If i'm not wrong, he works for Mr. Steve Stone"

"Tm sorry, Miss. You can't meet him without an appointment" The receptionist took a look at the woman in front of her and found that she was beautiful.

 Therefore, she chose to act very polite, but she didn't dare to break the Company's rules.

Ashley was taken aback by her response. Did meeting a driver in their company also need an appointment? The Stone Group was really an extraordinary Company!

Ashley had no choice but to ask, "Then can I make an appointment now?"

"Of course. I will inform you of the result in about fifteen days, " the receptionist replied politely.

"Fifteen days? What kind of driver was he?" Why was there so much of a build-up just to meet him?

Ashley couldn't wait that long. But she didn't have Levi's phone number or address. She didn't know where else to find him except at the Stone Group Headquarters, so she relented. 

"Okay. Please make an appointment for me."

"Alright Ma. I would do so immediately"

 "Thank you. But by the way, is there any other way I can contact him or see him without waiting for fifteen days?"

The receptionist was used to hearing this, because many people wanted to see Levi as soon as possible. Without skipping a beat, she smiled politely and said, "Sorry, but no"

But in her heart, she scoffed and thought, "Mr. Stone is not a person who is easy to meet. These women are getting bolder and bolder."

"Do they think they can get anything just because of their beauty? Otherwise, why would they come to make an appointment?"

Ashley had no choice but to leave and wait for the result. I have already known that the Stone Group is one of the most powerful companies in Carrivile City. 

Five years ago, I was able to meet the young master of the Stone Group in person, but now, I can't even see a driver of the group. I didn't expect that things have really changed over the past five years! " Ashley thought secretly.

Suddenly, she saw a car pull up to the entrance. The window of the driver's seat was rolled down, and the car was moving very slowly, which gave Ashley enough time to see the driver's face. It was that same familiar and handsome face that she came to see!

"What's happening to me. Why is it that every man I'm seeing today looks like Levi. Anyways I believe the person I just saw now is Levi since, he is a driver in this company"

"But what if I can get his number from the receptionist......... Since he is just the personal driver of the family head of the Stones. She should be able to give me since she should have all the workers personal information incase of emergencies" Ashley thought .

She turned back to the receptionist "Excuse me, I'm so sorry to bother you again. Can I get Levi Stone's number from you" she said blinking her eyelids at the receptionist in hope that her request would be granted.

"I'm so sorry Ma. I can't give it out since I don't know you and also I don't know what you want to do with it" the receptionist replied her eyeing her

"Alright. Thank you. Have a nice day"

"And you too. Ma'am"

"Wow, their level of confidentiality is ............. Just for an ordinary driver. I can't get his number. Hmmmp" Ashley thought and she left
