"She is a mortal living alone in a small house 30 minutes away from us. She is an event planner." Sofie told me as she gave me all the details regarding her.

"She had gone through so much." I whisper in disbelief reading about her highschool bullies and her life after that. I remember how she was the most loved child of our village. My disbelief turned into anger but Sofie controlled me.

"It's okay, she needs you now." she said and I agreed to it but how can I explain everything to her? That I am a 500 years old werewolf who is actually her mate and searching for her for all these years?

"She won't believe you. You have to make her fall in love with you." Sofie said, reading my mind. Sofie is a witch and a good friend of mine who I met only 20 years ago.

"I have a plan. Contact her and ask her to plan an elite party for all the business people. She will be here. I will talk to her and befriend her." I told Sofie who was also impressed with my idea but after all the agreement about the party planning was made I realized she will be busy in preparing the party and won't even look at me or anyone else.

"All these years you never found anyone else and still love Katherine?" Sofie asked in wonder while I just smiled.

"I need to change a few things in the plan but don't worry I will take care of it." I told her and went out. I went to Katherine's house to see her.

It was night and she was sleeping peacefully but then suddenly her face changed and she was struggling. I didn't understand why and she woke up sweating and blabbered about how she was suffering from nightmares and then she got another bad dream which forced her to work on her project instead of sleeping.

Suddenly there was a notification sound in her phone and I realized it's a guy named Travis. I am a werewolf I can see from far as clear as crystal.

I groaned in tension as I realized it's the same Travis who hurt her years back. He is asking for a second chance. I groaned angrily and fainted in weakness.

But I was quick enough to make her forget seeing me and went away from there. The next day I canceled the event because I am too weak and realizing that she had someone else in her life is too much for me. How can she? I was waiting for her for 500 years and she was having fun.

"She wasn't having fun. She thought he would love her while he made her cry." Sofie said but I wasn't convinced. I am sad that she didn't wait for me but she doesn't even know me.

"I am having this party again but get someone else as the event planner and invite her to the party as your friend." I told Sofie who was confused but still said she will do it.

After a few days I saw a beautiful dress and realized it would suit her. So on the day of the party I sent her the dress like a stalker without any name or address.

"Don't scare her." Sofie warned me but I loved how scared she was after seeing the dress. I am not going to do anything bad to her and doing such kind things is our love language in her past life.

I thought she would be smitten by my charm and come running to me but she just kicked on my face even before she saw me. I went from there without saying anything. In a minute she came to me and asked me whether I wanted to go on a date with her.

I was confused but I agreed like who else would refuse their mate? She looked the same except for her clothes but still she looks the same fashionable girl who she was centuries ago when fashion was not even a thing.

I just want to kiss her lips and show her all the love I am keeping inside all these years.

I saw the event organizing guy irritating her and made a note to take care of him.

We left and as I dropped her she realized something which even I didn't realize and asked me, "How do you know where I live?"

"I may not be present but nothing goes unnoticed by me. I always check the background of the people who we are contacting for these event organizing things. I realized your address was near to my house. While going to a meeting Sofie showed me your house And I have a pretty good memory." I said the lie as fast as I would and she seems to be convinced by it.

"Hey, do you want to come inside?" she asked me after a minute of silence while I realized as much as I wanted to. I can't till I reveal myself and also I have a job to take care of.

"Sorry I have work to finish." I see she was disappointed even with me but I promised to make it up as soon as possible.

But as I was about to start the car she kissed me.

"I was sorry. I don't know what I was thinking." she said and tried to walk away but the kiss was already done and my wolf was awakened and now there is no stopping it. I pulled her and kissed her. My lips trance towards her lips to neck.

"We just met today." she whispered

"But don't you feel like we have this crazy connection between us?." I whispered back when I got a call from my secretary which got us back from our horniness.

"We have him. what should I do with him?" she asked as they kidnapped the event planner creep who was torturing Katherine.

"You finish it and do it right now. I want to hear everything." I said and looked at Katherine who was breathing heavily with her cheek turning to the darkest shades of red.

"I am leaving bye." she ran inside while I cursed in anger as that guy spoiled my special night.

I reached the place asking Sofie to hold onto him.

"How dare you try to mess with my girl?" I asked him.

"I don't know she was your girl." he said, trembling in fear and started begging seeing me turning my hands into a wolf's hand.

"You are not a human?" but instead I stabbed him with my long nails.

"Nooo." someone shouted and I turned back to see Katherine. Why did she follow me? and how?
