FREE Chapter: Note from the author.
Hello guys, EGO here. I want to clarify a few things after reading all your comments and sweet reviews. First of all, I am truly grateful for all the support I have been given. I am truly thankful that there are those out there who love this book and are always looking forward to its updates. I never imagined this part in like ever.
Secondly, I really want to apologize. True I suddenly went missing and I apologize for that. I had actually wanted to take a break after the first volume of this book but I just couldn't so I kept on writing. It was until I after I wrote chapter 24 of the second volume that my health started to decline so I had to take a break. It was suppose to be a short break possibly only a month or so..but after days and weeks go by I just couldn't bring myself up to writing again and I kept on delaying and postponing. Honestly it's my fault that a lot of my readers were disappointed at the sudden disappearance. Some were worried for my heath and I am glad and grateful you thought of me and even reached me on my social accounts.
I also want to say that unlike other artist I can only do so much and I can't do any mass release since I am still studying and I have college work too. However I will try to write as much as possible and complete this book. I hope that I won't disappoint you and hope you will keep on supporting me. I am also working on another book of mine 'Love upon a wish' . I am working on it and I hope you can give that book a try when I will start releasing it. And also when this book 'My Demon Life' will be complete, be sure to look forward to its sequel. ;)
Well thats all I have to say guys. This chapter will not be counted and it's totally free so don't feel bad. It does not cost a single coin. Hope I didn't waste your time here...hehe. sorry if I do.

A week has gone by and life at the academy has been normal. Well normal as in the sense that there is no boring day in this world. Kiri had been teaching me all the things she knew about the Demon World Inter Academy Competition. For the past week Lord Drago’s daughter Feyla had been asking for a match between us but since she was of a higher rank to challenge me, naturally I declined since I was preparing for my special classes with Lord Inveja. Even though he had not yet taught me anything, he did send me a few books for me to know the basics of what I am dealing with. I had Reiya and Kiri help me with the interpretation and translation for anything I had trouble with. However the ranking in our class is about to change again. Kiri went and challenged the 7th Rank, Lemin, and even though I had thought it was going to be an easy task for Kiri, I guess I underestimated the elite members of this academy.
