Chapter 56

Samantha Point of View 

"Rude," Linda commented. Samira nodded in agreement. The girls were just gathering the dry clothes outside Samira's house when they began talking about the guy who saved her as well as how he just walked away from her. It was Samira's turn to take the dry laudry from the clothesline. And much to Samira's relief, Linda was there to offer her help. 

"Maybe it was something I said?" Samira wondered, picturing how he went from a smirk to a cold expression. Maybe she was thinking too hard, and the problem was really just him. 

"Or he's just plain rude," she muttered to herself, considering the thought. As the girls took their time doing the chores, Linda looked away for a moment, noticing Xavier's friend who had entered her line of sight. "Heads up. I think Xavier's hot friend is interested in you."
