I smiled, a plan forming in my mind. "Phila, I need your help. I want you to keep an eye on Daniel's moves, and see if you can find out what he's up to."

Phila's eyes widened, intrigued. "You mean, spy on him?"

I nodded. "Exactly. I'm about to make a big decision, and I need to be sure of what I'm doing. If Daniel's hiding something, I need to know."
