Elena’s POV

“What is it, Elena?” Alex asked me. He followed my gaze, his eyes scanning through the area.

I hesitated, my heart racing. “That figure looks like there’s someone there.

“It looks like Bonnie," I responded with uncertainty.

“Who is Bonnie?” Alex asked in confusion.

Bonnie is my childhood friend, I’m not certain yet it just looks like her. I responded, still trying to look closer.

I nodded, my mind racing with memories of our past. We had been inseparable growing up, sharing secrets and dreams. But life had taken us in different directions and we lost in touch.
