How was I supposed to react to such news?

I sat still, the crowd murmured as they walked out of the court. Damon was at the corner with our lawyer settling him.

The judge and everyone had left but i still sat there, unmoving. My lips in a thin line and my hair still in its perfection. I noticed a red head in the mist of the people leaving the court. The person looked familiar but i was to tired to care.

I grabbed the glass of water that was placed on the table and gulped it down. The water had a strange taste but I was too weak to be bothered about it.

I squeezed my hands in a fist. The zeal to leave the seat overpowered me and I stood up. But it was the worst mistake I made.

I held on to the chair for balance, the world around me became blurry, the voices and sounds became distant.

I tired to move forward but I ended up falling to the ground. I turned around and looked at the glass ceilings. The glass glowed brightly and I smiled.
