“So, Miss…”

“Miss Andrea,” the blonde haired woman said as she rose to her feet and began to pass some papers around to everyone seated at the table, including me.

“What’s going on? What’s this?” I questioned her as everyone else shared glances among themselves,

“My employer, as you know, is the reason your company was able to pull through such serious debts and is the only reason why your mansion is still your property.” Andrea began, holding my gaze as she spoke.

“As you all know, one of the major terms of our agreement was that my employer gets to own a small amount of the company’s shares.” She continued and the way she spoke made me feel uncomfortable.
