"Damn it,” I thought as I saw the sea of women. “how I’m going to pass through so many people.”
The crowd was not moving. And mostly the women had occupied every side of the hall. They were moving randomly and uncoordinated, filling the spaces as if fans surround a superstar. I stared at their back in confusion, while men watched sitting in their spaces with annoyance. The women were mostly young each wearing colorful short dresses and heels of various kinds. It was as if I was standing in a fashion show. I felt underdressed. Some women even dared to fold the hem of their dresses to make them look a little shorter.
'Hah. Stupid girls.'
Suddenly, the glass doors opened and women pushed around more urgently making noises that seemed like hooting. I wasn't pleased.
