Chapter 31

Lucifron, who had gone to the left, found empty rooms, and a kitchen, where they heard several shewolves talking. He pays attention, but they talk about banal things, like food and men. He goes up the stairs and only sees the hallways. He went up to the top floor, and there was nothing there. Disappointed, he goes downstairs, but when he passes the kitchen again, the shewolves are talking about Gary.

- I'm sorry. – one said. – he's so young and beautiful.

- Don't say that out loud. If Alpha hears you, she'll kill you. – another says.
