Chapter 26: Ours
Seven months and the baby was still going strong in Jilly’s stomach. But, her doctor advised the family to do a C-section to deliver the baby because he doubted the baby could make it to full term, and with Jilly still in a coma, she couldn’t deliver the baby naturally. It was either that or the baby won’t make it at all. Her doctor believed that the baby had a chance to live if a C-section was to be performed. The baby would be pre-mature but had a chance to live.
The decision was to be made today as Cayne and the family gathered at the hospital to discussed it. But from the Jaelane view, Cayne had the right to make the final decision because he was the father of the baby in Jilly’s stomach.
