Chapter 71: Dead

Jilly was waiting at the airport for her baby's arrival from New York. She missed her badly and couldn’t wait to hold her in her arms. She was waiting by herself in the lounge of the private airport. She furiously typed on her phone, answering to many emails which were waiting for her response.

“The plane is landing, Ma’am,” a staff informed her as the jet was on its way down. She put her phone down and thanked him before looking outside where she saw the jet going down. She stood up and walk out to greet her right off the jet. She was standing at a safe distance waiting for the engine to die down.

She was excited to greet her under the stair but when she saw Mark walking out on his own, she got confused. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow, silently asking him where her daughter was. When Mark got down and before she could scold him, another person appeared in the doorway. She saw Cayne along with Grace standing there ready to make their way down the stairs.

“What are you doing?”
