CHAPTER 10

LILIANA POV

I went home with my bodyguards. Xavier called me, he will be home by 8 p.m. tonight. He needs to meet with some investors from Europe. They came along the way to meet him. I ate dinner alone. I saw the medicines that the attendants brought for me. Instead of drinking it, I placed it in my pocket. I need to try it again. For the last time, I will follow Takashi's instructions. I was tempted to follow his words.

When I reached my room, I went to the sink inside the bathroom to flash the medicines.

I took a quick shower before preparing myself to sleep.

I feel scared to sleep alone. I hope Xavier will be home soon. But my body was betraying me, I feel very tired today.

I decided to lie down instead of waiting for my husband to come home.
