LILIANA POV

I felt my chest tighten after what I discovered. There are so many questions roaming inside my head. My past was full of darkness and sorrow. Could I handle all the truth?

Xavier moved closer and held my chin to look him in the eyes.

"Liliana, I am here to help you get through all of this. Yes, I admit I asked doctor Tien to give you medicines. Those medicines were not meant to help you remember the memories, it was intended to let you forget everything because I don't want you to recall your past. It was too painful for you Liliana," her voice broke. He hugged me and we both cried.

"Xavier, I'm sorry," that is all I can say.

"Shh... don't be sorry Liliana. I know you can't handle all of this. Let me help you carry all the burden," he said.

"Xavier, tell me what happened. I don't care how painful it was. I just want to know," I can feel the burning pain inside my throat. This emotion was intense. I need to know the truth and I want it to come from Xavier.
