Chapter 10 - You're a Monster

She was really scared. "Leave me. I want to go to my mother." She has started crying by now.

Neel watched her for a moment as she stood fragilely in his arms, completely at his mercy, crying for her mother.

A small smile formed on his lips when he saw her howling like a little girl, and he left her as his anger seemed to be disappearing in thin air.

Anna quickly rushed out of his jeep, limping on her feet. She just wanted to get away from the monster as soon as possible.

Neel sat back for a while, resting his head on the seat. He closed his eyes, then suddenly realised something, and quickly parked his Jeep.

Anna was limping badly because of pain, but that was nothing compared to the pain in her heart. Today, his words crushed her fragile heart badly. She was crying continuously; in a daze, she didn't know where she was moving.

Neel spotted her and rushed behind her; he took her in his arms before ascending the stairs.
