“So that’s the truth,” Marcus heaved out, “I know. Thanks.”

The head alpha hung up the call and frustratingly threw his phone to the side. Marcus flipped to lay on his back, staring at his ceiling, zoning out. His arm unconsciously reached to the side where Giselle used to lay with him on their bed.
