Chapter 45: Gain her trust

A year later.

August.

Marcus woke up feeling hazy. But not as haziness as a few days ago. He could be sure his rut had died down.

He opened his eyes but quickly squinted them as a sharp stingy feeling shot straight to his brain. At the same time, his head was having a bad migraine.
