Chapter 32: You're distressed

Giselle.

Maybe the Moon Goddess had heard my praying, so she sent Marcus to me.

Just when I was about to pass out, I saw a silhouette, a beautiful greyish-white wolf with flaring red eyes looking at me; and somehow, that silhouette seemed familiar to me. 

It reminded me of Marcus.

No, it was Marcus!

Although my nostrils were too weak to pick up any scents, his cedarwood scent was still vivid to me.

I tried to lid my eyelids up. However, they felt so heavy on me. No matter how hard I tried, I could not.

How pathetic! 

Such a simple task, but I could not even do it.

How pathetic was I!

Marcus got straight to my side. 

I could feel he was nudging on my side, but I was too exhausted to respond.

It might sound strange, yet, I could feel sadness, agony along with warth slowly built up in him. I wanted to reassure him, telling him that I was okay. Since he had been there, I would be okay. Nonetheless, words stuck in
