Chapter 31: Destined or not?

When we got to the hospital, Giselle was barely breathing. Her condition was critical.

I did not remember how did we get out of the woods? What happened in the woods after I had found Giselle? It all seemed like a blurry memory to me. Also, how could we get to the hospital? How could we make it to the special department? I could not remember at all.

Fynn had to struggle with me to get Giselle, and only at that moment did I realize I was holding onto her that tight.

But I had no choice. I did not want to let go. My wolf did not want me to let go, either!

“My mate was about to die!” I could not shake off the thought. It haunted me!

I sat on the cold metallic bench right outside of the operation room.

My elbows rested on my knees while my head was buried in both of my palms. My palms still had Giselle’s fainted eucalyptus scent and her intense bloody smell. The smell of it was somewhat irritated.
