Giselle smiled, taking another sip of her hot milk since she could not take any caffeine just yet.
Marcus nodded, “Unbelievable, right?”
“No.” Giselle shook her head.
“No? Who would have met their destined in a bar after all?” Marcus laughed, shaking his head, leaning back on the backrest of the bench.
Giselle pursed her lips. She wanted to say something, but she chose to let it go.
With Tina’s personality, if the girl had ever met Marcus somewhere else, other than the bars, that should be weird.
But, on the other hand, the way Marcus implied the word “destined” had hurt Giselle. Nonetheless, she shook the disturbing thought away.
