DACIANA’S POV

After a short chase, the guard caught up with her.

The pack was in uproar. Murmurs and chattering filled the place. Ava was dragged to the execution ground. Howard was too angry to spare her till the next day. He ordered her immediate execution.

“Please, please. I didn’t mean to. Moana was just too stubborn and blinded by love. I had to do with was needed,” she pleaded.

“And you think killing her was right? You were never a good stepmother, not even a good mother to your own child. You don’t deserve to live,” I said. I had been in shock and watched all the drama unfold, but I had regained my strength to talk.

Corni pulled me to his side as she launched towards me.

“You should have just died. Everything would have gone back to normalcy but you and the General won’t let things die. You don’t deserve life too and you should go down with me!” She yelled.

I scoffed. “I didn’t kill my daughter.”

“Enough!” the Alpha yelled. Anger blared in his eyes.

“Kill her!” he ordered.
