Chapter 4

Viona POV

Everything that happens, happens for a reason, or so they say. Would someone like to explain to me what the reason was for me to wake up in my three years old bedroom back at the Levites Pack. The three years old me who grew up in a frozen theme bedroom was long gone, even dead.

But why does it look like everything when in reverse, I rushed out to look at myself in my full-length mirror, and what stared back at me was a toddler with huge deep blue eyes that looked frightened, well that was what I felt at that moment.

I always believed that second chance was only in the novels and movies, but now I don't know if to be happy or feel angry as I would repeat life over again, the torture, the regret, the frustration literally, history would repeat it for me.

I immediately rolled on the ground and began crying, something I got used to when Nicolas ditched me and embarrassed me in the midst of my friends.

While crying I remembered everything I went through, from being threatened, kidnapped, disowned and finally killed, it all flooded in at once.

Suddenly, my door barged open as fast as lightning. I was picked from the ground into someone's arms. I was frozen from shock until I heard a thunderous voice.

"Where are those damned maids...?"

Immediately about six young girls in Levites maid's wear rushed in all on their knees with their heads bowed, something I haven't seen in a long time since my father passed, Wait...

"Where were you all when my daughter was crying...?"

"M..my lord..." They began shaking like wet chickens.

Then my eyes were covered and the scent of blood filled the air. I already knew who would do such an act , It was my father.

Suddenly I was raised up, as he stared at me, his deep blue eyes looking into mine, hot tears dripping on his face, the loving eyes he gave me were now filled with worry.

"I didn't mean to do that in your presence sweetheart...I w..was just angry, I'm sorry" He apologized sincerely, something no one knew he was capable of.

"Dad..dy..." I stammered with hiccups.

He gently hugged me tightly and I could hear his heart beat clearly.

"You're not feeling sick are you?" His voice was so soft no one would believe he was the same person who killed six maids in just seconds.

I shook my head and went back into his arms.

Just then, my mother panicked on seeing the scene, but after our eyes met, she sighed in relief.

"You're not hurt are you?" She asked still worried

"No...They're just tamed rogues, they can't harm me" My father responded quickly.

"I wasn't talking to you" She said, annoyed at my father as she took me from his arms, feeling my temperature and wiping my tears.

"We'll talk about this later" She said to my father looking at the corpses dying on the floor red.

At this point, I thought I was in a dream, where everything was as it were, nothing changed, just me and my parents, I wished to never wake up. Because after my fathers death I began resenting my mother for being a weak and helpless Luna only listening to my uncle, until I found out it was all for my sake, considering her pride it was out of love she brought herself so low just to keep me safe.

I learnt all this after getting married to Nicolas. By that time it was already too late to make amends, I couldn't save her despite her efforts to protect me.

I buried my face in her chest, something I do out of habit. Her lavender scent filled by nostrils gave me a sense of relief that everything was real.

They took me out of my bedroom into theirs as they laid me to sleep but the fear of this being a dream was still there, I was afraid to open my eyes and everything disappeared returning to how it once was.

"Sweetheart sleep" My father covered his eyes with his palm and I began panting heavily, he released me and picked me up, ordering me to call the pack's doctors.

I finally passed out, but I could still hear their worried voices echoing.

Hours later

I opened my eyes only to stare at the chandelier that brightened up the room, and listen to the ticking sound of the clock. It was so quiet that I knew it was around midnight. Being alone in the room after recollection of what just happened, I blotted up from the bed, only to meet with my small toddler hands.

I pinched myself and felt the pain, there was a knock at the door, I hurriedly laid back down and closed my eyes like I was still asleep.

The person walked in with steady steps, it had to be a grown man that I could tell.

The person stopped beside my bed and stared at me for a few minutes, then sat beside me, opening the bedside drawer.

I could hear the shuffling of papers, the person seemed to be looking for someone, I had no Idea who it was, I don't recall their scent. But somehow it seems familiar.

My instincts kicked in as I grabbed the person's arms still with my eyes closed I mumbled.

"Daddy I'm thirsty"

I could feel the person flinch, especially as I tightened my grip and began crying in my sleep. My father's instincts seemed to kick in when he heard me crying. Sure enough he came rushing, I could hear his footsteps, so could the other person as he quickly threw me to the floor and ran for the window.

But before he could jump, his head was sent flying, it was a gruesome sight to behold for a toddler but within this body was a woman who had countless blood on her hands, so it was rather thrilling.

In my past life my dad died when I was 9, but the cause was still unknown till my death, but looking at him now I understand how he can be targeted by multiple factions.

He was a good warrior blessed by the moon goddess herself and a great father, the best leader the Levites had ever seen. No wonder my uncle despised me as everyone always compared him to my dad.

I couldn't hide the blush from the excitement on my face. Soon enough my mother rushed in and first covered my eyes. Before scolding my dad as he lowered his head in guilt I had to admit I felt bad for him, but somehow he did deserve it, for killing in front of a three years old.

After her almost thirty minute scolding session I was told to wait in the pack's conference room. It was a huge hall and was always brightly lit all year round. It was the only place in our mansion where the lights were never turned off.

I had my dinner there, when a maid knocked and informed me I had a guest. Despite my experience as an adult, my toddler self was excited and ordered the guest to be brought in.

Soon enough, a green eyes girl with twin ponytails hopped in, followed by a charming ten years old boy who seemed to be chasing after her with a toy barbie in his hand, for a moment our eyes met and I immediately looked away.

I could still remember this was the first time we met in my past life, because of the incident earlier, All the Alphas were gathered, and this was when that damned prophecy was made that ruined my family.

I suddenly lost my appetite as the maids immediately cleared up the table.

The girl in ponytails came up to me.

"Hi...What's your name?"

Her voice was so soft and innocent, but before I could answer, the door swung open as my father and the rest of the alpha's and their direct heirs walked in. As the only princess of the Levites, I sat at the head of the children's table, as it is my territory.

"Joey... why don't you go say hi?" A middle aged Omega said, pushing her son into the children's table to serve juice.

His name sounded familiar but his head was bowed so I couldn't see his face.

The celebration was in full swing: lanterns swayed in the trees, their golden glow mingling with the silver of the moon. Music carried across the open courtyard of the pack house, drums pulsing like a heartbeat while wolves and humans alike danced in a circle around the towering birthday cake that glittered with sparklers. At the center of it all was Ariel, his grin wide as he hoisted Lyra onto his shoulders. My daughter clapped her tiny hands, her giggles rising above the crowd like bells. She leaned forward, pointing eagerly at the glowing cake, while Ariel twirled her around with exaggerated steps. Aria laughed beside them, clapping along with the music, her gown swishing in rhythm. My parents' mate stood nearby, their faces alight with pride as they watched both their son and granddaughter bask in the joy of the evening. It w

Chapter 175 Viona's POV The days that followed the reveal of Lyra's existence were filled with a strange, tender warmth I hadn't felt in years. My parents visited often now, slipping into the estate with the same reverence one might reserve for sacred ground. My mother could barely keep her hands off her granddaughter, weaving ribbons into Lyra's hair, teaching her old songs from our homeland. My father, for all his Alpha sternness, melted into something softer around the child. He would sit on the porch with Lyra tucked against his chest, telling her stories of the stars and the pack's ancestors, his voice rumbling like distant thunder. Ariel was perhaps the most relentless of all. From the moment he met her, Lyra had become his shadow. He showed up with small gifts -wooden toys, shiny pebbles, even a tiny dagger (which I quickly confiscated). He sparred playfully with her in the gardens, lifting her high in the air until

Employees bustled about, whispering excitedly, for it was not every day that my family arrived at the company. I had received the message late the night before-my family was coming. Not just my mother or father, but all of them. I hadn't seen them together in years, not since I'd left the werewolf territories behind to forge my empire. A mix of anticipation and unease coiled inside me as I rode the elevator down to greet them. The doors slid open, and there they were. My father, Jason, stood tall despite the graying of his hair, his Alpha presence still carrying weight even outside the pack's borders. My mother's eyes softened when they met mine, warmth spilling into every line of her face. And beside them, my younger brother Ariel-no longer t

The Annual Global Media Awards-the most prestigious ceremony in the industry-where every CEO, journalist, and broadcaster of renown gathered to celebrate the year's achievements. My assistant, Mara, lingered by the door, her expression unreadable as I slid a manicured finger beneath the seal and unfolded the heavy parchment. "They'll expect you to attend," Mara said. My lips curved faintly, though the smile didn't quite touch my eyes. "Yes. They always do." This year, however, the event carried a different weight. Not because I was nominated again-though I was, for several categories-but because I had made a decision. It would be my last. --- For six years, I had lived beneath th

It came not with the quiet reverence of my pack days but with flashing lights, whispering mouths, and headlines that painted me in colors both flattering and false. By now, six years into my reign as CEO of Moonlight Media, my name carried weight across continents. Humans saw me as the formidable woman who had bridged gaps no one else dared touch. Witches praised my ability to grant them a neutral platform. Even werewolves, who once whispered my name in anger, spoke of me now with reluctant awe. Everyone knew me. But no one truly knew me. My image was carefully crafted: a woman of elegance and precision, untouchable in success, commanding in every word I spoke on public stages. The interviews I granted were rare, my answers polished and sharp. The photos that appeared in glossy magazines showed me in designer gown
