Chapter 4

My lycan prince

Chapter four.

“Lily, you don’t have to go with him,” Wade assures me. I nod my head.

“I know. Archer told me it was my choice,”

Wade furrows his brows.

“Why didn’t you tell me that you’ve been talking to him?”

“Yeah why did you keep this a secret?” Jenny chirped in.

I shrug my shoulders.

“I’m not sure,”

Wade pulled up at the airport and my phone dings.

:I’m behind you.

I glanced up from the screen and Wade's eyes were on me.

“He’s here isn’t he?”

I nod.

Ding.

I glance down.

:Will you come with me Lily?

I closed my eyes and inhaled a deep breath and exhaled.

:Okay.

I replied and got out of the car Wade grabs my bags and walks me toward Archer's limousine.

“Lily, no matter what you can call Jenny and me and we will come to get to you,”

Nodding my head I embrace my brother.

“I love you Wade,”

He tightens his hold on me and tells me that he loves me so much.

Archer opens the door and Wade's body tensed.

I take steps toward Archer and Wade grabs my shoulder.

“I’ll come and check on you soon,” Wade tells me and I nod my head.

“I will be coming very soon to see my sister,” Wade tells Archer who nods.

“I’ll leave your name at the front gate. You can see her anytime you’d like,”

Wade nods.

“Wade come on before we miss our flight,” Jenny says to him and pulls him back toward the car.

Archer motions me for me to get in and I climb in the limousine and Archer gets in behind me and closes the door and the driver takes off.

“Where are we going?”

Archer looked over at me and his eyes were blue.

I thought one of his eyes was green?

“I have a private jet,”

I mouthed an ‘0’

“Will I be able to visit with my brother and sister in law?”

“Of course,” Archer replied.

His phone rings and he excuses himself as he takes the call and I stare out the window.

“Nervous?” Archer asks as the jet's engines roared to life.

I nod.

“I’ve never been on a jet or plane before,”

Archer chuckles and grabs the seat belt and straps me in. “Is it too tight?”

I shake my head and he strap’s himself in and the jet begins to take off down the strip

Everything through the window beside me passes by in a blur as the jet picks up more speed and when it lifts off the ground I gasp and dig my nails in Archer's hand.

I closed my eyes and held my breath as I dug my nails further into his hand. He moved me or utter a word he just let me do it.

My heart finally started to calm down after about fifteen minutes or so and I opened my eyes and they widened when I saw the blood drip from Archer's hand.

“I’m sorry,” I muttered . I quickly move my fingers from his grab the napkin from the table and clean his hand.

“Do you have a first aid kit?”

“Catalina, can you grab the first aid kit?” She nods her head and walks to the back.

“Who’s she?”

Archer looks over at her and back to me.

“The flight attendant. She’s here to get anything you need,” He explained.

“Oh,”

Catalina walks back and hands Archer the first aid kit and her eyes fall on his hand.

“Would you like me to clean that for you?”

I grab the first aid kit from her hands.

“I can manage thank you,” I tell her.

She flips her blonde hair over her shoulder and her blue eyes land on me and she scowls.

“If you need anything else sir let me know,” Catalina says to Archer and she glared at me before walking away.

I opened the box and grabbed an alcohol wipe and cleaned up the dried blood. I wrapped his hand with a wrap after I put ointment over the cuts.

“I’m sorry about your brother,” Archer tells me.

My body stiffened and I looked down at the floor of the jet.

“Riley will pay for what he did to my brother and the girl he loved,”

“You mean Riley’s girl? The one he brought”

I looked up and saw Archer's gaze on me and I frowned.

“Wyatt loves Noel. Riley took it to far by killing them,”

“He didn’t kill Noel. He only killed your brother,” Archer says and frowns at my shocked face.

“You didn’t know?” He asks and shakes my head.

“Wade took me home after Wyatt was killed I just thought he killed her to,”

“He did not,”

Tears stung my eyes and I looked out the window at the blanket of clouds I’ve never seen anything so beautiful.

“It’s not as beautiful as you are,” Archer says lowering his voice and I glance over at him.

Did I say that out loud?

A thought crossed my mind and it’s one that’s crossed my mind many times before.

“Why did you buy me? Mother and Riley both said you weren’t looking to buy anyone,”

“I wasn’t,” He said tilting his head.

“What do you know about werewolves?”He asks.

“My sister told me they shapeshift into wolves and they have mates other than that? I know no nothing,”

“I’m not just a normal werewolf. I’m a lycan do you know anything about Lycans?”

Again shake my head.

“I’m three times stronger than a werewolf. My sight and hearing is better as well and we live longer. When a werewolf is in human form they can talk to their wolves but they are the only ones that can hear them. A lycan like myself is different my wolf can emerge and is able to talk like I’m talking to you now,”

“Do I get to talk to your wolf?”

He nods.

“If you’d like,”

I nod.

“You said a lycan lives longer?”

He nods.

“How old are you?”

“Three hundred,”

I laugh softly.

“For real?”

He nods.

I stopped laughing and shook my head.

“So why did you buy me?”

“I’ll tell you one day. Not now,”

I nod and look back out the window.

“So what about you? What do you like?”

“Books, mostly. I do enjoy school,”

“We have schools on the island,”

I smile at that. Archer isn’t as bad as father and mother made him out to be. Archer seems nice.

“So are you like a vampire?”

Archer chuckles.

“Lycans and vampires are different but in some ways you could say we are.”

“And your wolf can talk to me like you right now?”

He nods.

“Sometimes he surfaces with me. When that happens one of my eyes change colors,”

“I saw that,” I yawned.

“Why don’t you sleep for a while. It’s a long flight,” Archer says and leans my seat back.

He tells Catalina to bring him a blanket and he covers me with it and stares at him until my eyes close and sleep evades me.
