Chapter 18: Lunch Break

The Next Day:

Last night, we didn’t go any further than kissing, and yet she’s all I want. I’ve never felt that kind of magnetism with anyone else. She stopped me right before I unbuckled my belt, and although every inch of my body wanted to feel her body against mine, I stopped and let her go. Ever since I’ve gone to bed, the scene repeats in my head constantly, and I haven't slept a wink.

She’s off to work already, but I am hesitant to get out of bed, which is very unlike me. I take a warm shower and get ready. I am slacking on my schedule for the first time in years, and I don’t regret it. I reach the Pentanova’s house.
