Ezra's POV:Stephen had stopped bothering me entirely after what happened, he's such a shameless man, he doesn't come over as he used to and I was happy about that. Chris POV:I sat in the garden and watched the leaves fall. My mind was not at ease and I was troubled. A group of rebels had occupied my land that was outside the city. The small town in particular was prey to bandits,it had a weak defense. The land was good for farming,there was also gold found there ,so it was always a prey to exploitation. The land has provided me with a lot of resources so I couldn't let it go even if I wanted to ,and letting it go would mean I was afraid of the bandits that attacked it. The bandits had killed the inhabitants and my workers,some were lucky to have fled and saved themselves but where will they run to when their home was now taken over by bandits. I was troubled because these particular bandits were notorious and well known because of how troublesome they are,they are barbarians and have no single human sympathy in them. Ezra's POV; The master and the soldiers went to war, everyone was anxiously waiting for their return. But the mansion was livelier without him around,he's not a bad master but everyone can finally breathe when he's not around ,but we all still prayed for his safe return.
