Chapter 22

"Don't scare her, Ben!" A voice came from above.

I saw a guy standing on the enormous pile of trash here. He looked at me, giving me a smile that was supposed to be sunny, but I couldn't see his face because the sun was so bright. At his feet was a thin board; he stepped on it and slid down from the mountain of garbage as if he were skiing. Maybe he does that so often; he looks very professional. When he almost touched the ground, he threw himself into the air, flipped, and landed skillfully.

This show would be fine if he didn't show it off in the dump. But he didn't care about the scene; his face was confident; he smiled and said, "Hello, beautiful lady! Nice to meet you."

Maybe he thinks his expression right now is that of a gentleman and charming, but in my eyes, he's funny. His face was ridiculous and clumsy.

The corners of my mouth twitched a few times before a forced smile appeared. I said, “hello!”
