Alpha Kaiser POV

I walked towards them and pulled her by my side, glaring at Beta James.

“Hello Kai…”

“It’s Alpha for you,” I spat, clenching my fist angrily.

“I was just greeting her farewell, no offense done,” Beta James said, smiling at my mate.

I turned to her and saw her eyes on him too. As if she felt my deadly glare, she gazed at me and quickly lowered her head.

“Beta James, the next time I see you close to my mate, I will rip your fucking balls out.” Every word I said was true, I’m going to kill him if he ever gets close to my mate again.

I held her hands tightly and dragged her towards my car.

“Mother!” She pulled her grip from mine, rushing to her mother, and hugged her tightly.

I entered the car, giving them privacy, and my beta followed. I closed my eyes, leaning my head against the car rest, when the door was pushed open and my mate climbed in, giving me some distance.

The silence in the car was so cozy, making me glance at her and catch her starring at me, but she was quick to shift her gaze elsewhere.

“So umm Luna…” Beta Lucky cleared his throat, earning my attention.

“Luna?” He called again when he didn’t get any response.

“Luna…”

“Are you referring to me?” She asked, pointing at herself.

“Yes Luna, what’s your name?” Lucky questioned, and my mate shifted.

“Emery, Emery Callus” came her simple reply.

Ohh she’s Emery?…

“Fuck, she mentioned it when she was rejecting us,” Darkson growled.

“Nice name Luna”

“Please call me Emery, I’m not your Luna.” That statement of hers got me cranking my head towards her.

“What do you mean?” I asked. She can’t go around telling everybody that she’s not my Luna, not like I’m making her be one, but at least she should shut the fuck up.

“I can’t be your Luna, milord.

Milord?…

“Oh because of him?” I turned at her again and caught her starring at me.

“Who?” She asked with a confused look on her face.

“The Beta” She quickly looked away from me, staring out the window without answering my question.

“Confirmed”

“Will you stop it, Beta James is my sister’s mate, not mine,” she snapped, wrapping her hands under her breast.

“Then why does he look at you with so much love and adoration?” I could still feel my blood boiling at that sight.

He was acting all lovely and cute when he’s someone else’s mate.

“I don’t know, but that’s none of your business,” she stated, infuriating me the more.

“Do you like him?” I demanded.

She stared at me with a frown then looked away, “And if I say yes?”

Fuck, she’s making me lose my temper. I grabbed her forcefully and pulled her to my lap, pressing her back against mine.

“You’re a whore!” I grunted, and she started struggling with me.

“You’re the whore not me,” She shouted trying to get off my lap.

I let go of her, and she sat down gruffly. We rode into my pack in silence. Heading straight to my mansion.

Lucky was the first to come down and help my mate down while I ignored them.

“Where are they?” I questioned one of my warriors.

“They’re gone, they looked very angry,” Jason replied, starring at both my mate and Lucky, then looked back at me with eyes full of questioning.

“Will I be shown to my room?” My mate's voice sounded behind me, and my anger rose.

Now, she’s going to live here by my rules…

“Now listen to me little wolf, my rules my pack, don’t speak to me except I speak to you, don’t leave this fucking castle without my permission, be respect and talk wisely, don’t act all brave and strong when you know deep down that you’re not…they’re many other rules to say but I will brief you about it later on. I believe these rules I just said will guide you.” My voice was cold, and I could see fear written on her expression before she lowered her gaze, not saying anything.

“Am I clear?” I asked, and she nodded.

“Words, Emery”

“Yes, milord,” She answered shakily.

“Becca, take her to her room?” I ordered one of the omegas, and she quickly ran forward.

“Let’s go, mi lady.” She ushered at my mate when I heard a loud voice.

“Kaiser?” Emma ran out of the castle and jumped on me, kissing me softly, and my eyes traveled over to my mate.

I couldn’t decipher what I saw in her eyes, but she looked away from me and followed Becca.

“Fuck human!” Darkson growled.
