Alpha Kaiser POV

I turned around and saw my beta standing close to a girl laying dead in her pool of blood. I glanced at him moving away from my mate.

“A witch!” He muttered, cleaning his hands as my brows furrowed.

What will a witch be doing in the woods? From what I’ve heard, there are no witches in Golden Mist Pack, so this means only one thing…she was here for me.

“We need to go!” My beta looked behind me and stared at my mate before facing me. I saw the hesitation in his eyes, like he was about to say something but stopped.

“Come here,” I ordered, and I could feel her staring at me but didn’t hear any movement from her.

“What makes you think I will obey you?” I heard her ask, and damn, her voice is cute and sexy.

“I can rip your heart at anytime, love,” I faced her and could hear her fast heartbeat.

She stood up slowly, starring at the witch on the floor, then she turned and started walking out of the woods while we followed.

    EMERY'S POVI rushed out and the scene going on outside was already so tough making me wonder how long they had arrived and…wait, it's just minute ago.I picked up a sword laying on the floor and immediately got into fight.
